Prices are reference ranges collected from public sources, not quotes. Your installed cost depends on panel capacity, conduit runs, permitting and local labor.
How to choose
- Size to your evening load, not to the panel roof. Capacity beyond what your evening peak can absorb earns nothing extra — the calculator caps discharge for exactly this reason.
- Check continuous power against your loads. A whole-home backup goal needs enough kW, not just enough kWh.
- Compare quotes in cost per usable kWh. It is the only number that survives across capacities and brands.
